Dear Readers,

It has given me particular pleasure to write The Winds of Fate for you. There is no greater compliment to me as an author than for my readers to become so involved with the characters that you want me to write more. That said, I’m happily immersed in a new series, introducing the powerful Duke of Rutland, a widower, and his strong-willed offspring. The Duke has formidable enemies determined to destroy his family…

My first installment sweeps from the glittering salons of London across the Caribbean Sea to the Colonies during the American Revolution. This captivating tale centers on the Duke’s rebellious daughter, Abigail−past marriageable age and yearning for adventure. She falls into the hands of the notorious American Privateer, Captain Jacob Thorne, set on his revenge against England.

I plan to release my next novel sometime late this year. Although I can’t tell you much more I can promise you this: like my last novel, it is written with one goal in mind−to make you experience the laughter, the love, and all the other myriad emotions of its characters. And when it’s over to leave you smiling…
